2011 Master Plan

Every so often it is important to step back and circle around to review where we started, evaluate where we are now, and decide where we want to go. In this way Bok Tower Gardens is kept fresh and relevant.

Two years ago we completed a Long Range Plan to preserve the Gardens’ character and mission as well as to define goals for the future. To achieve those long range goals we needed a physical plan – a Master Plan – that would illustrate what was needed for the grounds and facilities.

The 2011 Master Plan was crafted over a six-month period with thoughtful input by our visitors, donors, community leaders, volunteers, Board and staff. The Plan addresses projects essential to preserve our Garden’s heritage, while giving shape and definition to transformational projects that will widen the Gardens’ appeal and impact. It will chart our course for the next two decades.
